The Inaugural International 24 Festive Drums Gala Performance by SJK(C) Keng Koon, Bukit Tambun, Penang will take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at 7:30 PM!
This performance aims to promote the culture and heritage of the 24 Festive Drums, while providing a platform for drummers to showcase their dedication, talent, and hard work. It also nurtures teamwork, discipline, and artistic excellence.
In addition to performances by SJK(C) Keng Koon's own 24 Festive Drums teams, we are honoured to welcome Lichun Drum Society (立春鼓社) from Quzhou, China, these group previously performed at the Opening Ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games, featuring drummers from all range of life and age groups, creating a truly distinctive and inspiring performance style. Joining us also Jit Sin Independent High School 24 Festive Drums Team from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, and the professional drum troupe ~ Northern Drum Group (北野鼓团).
